Dear Bisexuals:
Invest in rainbows. Why? Rainbow as most people should know represents gay pride! Some people wear rainbows because they like them. But if someone is truly decked out in rainbows they are most likely sending you a signal that they are either bisexual, gay, or heteroflexible. I purchased a rainbow bracelet and already met a few other bisexuals. Someone's sexuality isn't written on their shirt, we live in a society where people the majority of the time are straight; therefore people naturally assume you like the opposite gender. If you are interested in finding a fellow bisexual, by wearing the bracelet you are showing that you have gay pride. This lets them know that you are either gay, bisexual, or heteroflexible(a straight person who is comfortable and supportive of gay people). Don't worry though! Straight people are usually not aware what rainbows mean! They don't really think anything of it because they aren't exposed to the meaning behind it, generally the only people who pick up on it are people who are just like you! If someone asks about the rainbow bracelet it is like they are sending you the signal that they recognize the meaning behind it. To all the bisexuals (male or female) if you are just coming out or have come out but are still closeted I would like to tell you are not alone! There are tons of people out there for you to meet! 1 out of every 10 people identifies them self as gay or bisexual. I know tons and tons of people who are gay/bisexual. There is like an underground railroad! Word spreads to only people that are safe to know or tell, once you come out there are a lot more people then you would think. Pay attention to the rainbows! :)
