I decided to write something a little less heavy in this post...

 A lot of people ask me what it is like to date a woman.  My first response is usually, "It is amazing."
What people don’t ever ask is what is the weirdest part about dating someone of the same sex.

One of the weirdest things is going on dates with a girl.  You can do things together that you both like.  Like as a date activity you can paint your nails, do each other’s hair, or go shopping for dresses.  This was kind of weird for me because I have never been on a date with a boy and said to him, "Now would you like me to paint your toes pink or purple?"

Another weird thing about dating a girl is you have so many things in common that are specific only to you gender so you can really talk in depth about something that someone of the opposite gender wouldn't understand, purely because they have never been through it. (shaving legs, craving chocolate, emotions)

But the weirdest thing by far is the bathroom situation.  My first date with a girl was at the movies.  After it was over we both had to go to the bathroom.  People in movies never tell you what to do in this situation! Do we both go in and use the bathroom in stalls next to each other? Do I go in and she waits outside? In the end we both went in together.  But it is so weird to try and impress your date and both walk into the women's restroom!
